Did the blast of cold weather shock your system this week? It's been so mild lately especially here in North Lincolnshire. Luckily the weatherman got it right and I was for warned and forearmed! As it's bitter at 7 am when I start my car boot treasure hunt.. Obviously this pic was taken a little later in the morning but don't let that blue sky fool you it was cold!
Where was I you might ask? There's not many car boots and markets around this time of year but Hull has one, only closed for Christmas/New year and a 3 weeks in October for the biggest travelling fair in Europe see my previous blog for that it's well worth a trip. Walton street market is a huge market and car boot getting all walks of life selling everything you could wish for including the kitchen sink! Held on Wednesdays and Sundays but I feel Wednesday is the best day. I often do a car boot myself to de-clutter. Although I often end spending up my gains in the market. However I didn't see many trader's selling gloves They should have and would have made a killing luckily I had mine and my new boots especially bought for treasure hunts, no fashion statement but so warm and toasty toes!
Now there dirty so not new any more!
