I can't believe it's Friday already, I've spent all week getting over the last weekend and this ones just around the corner. I was fortunate to have three lovely days off from business, home and children for a wedding staying in a hotel, lots of food, alcohol and friends. here's some pics from the day.
I love the way they've used the teacups and teapots for flowers, I've used them for table lamps and lots of other items may be it's time I polished up my flower arranging!
Well it's half term holidays here in north Lincolnshire so I'm not getting much work done this week. So far we've worked up a sweet tooth with swimming, a bike ride and some lovely walks. I will tire the kids out if it kills me and it probably will! This afternoon we spent some quality time making Banoffee bites which I can recommend from the lick of the spoon to the finished product. It's easy to make and you can make them perfect and pretty shaped balls but the kids and I just like to have some fun and get messy although I usually regret this after everyone's disappeared and I'm left to clear up. Here's our finished bites they taste delicious, even though they may not look pretty.
Hope everyone's well and ready for the weekend as it'll soon be here. I'm sorry I'm not posted over the last week or so but I had man flu so decided to cope like a man and lie down when ever possible. Now I'm well again I'm playing catch up with everything from housework, emails, treasure hunting and creating. One thing I have found time for though is putting up a Christmas present from my daughter in the pretty vintage house office.
I bet your wondering what a map of the world has to do with pretty vintage house. Well I get excited when I post a creation or vintage item to somewhere new so I now can pin a city or rather put a sequin on it!
Here's some items that have been dispatched abroad. A new location this week was closer to home, the Isle of Man.
